Routledges the Bakers was acquired by the Finest Foods Group at the start of 2022.

The business was founded by the Routledge family in 1917 at Brook Street in Carlisle.

Routledges has one main bakery in its original location on Brook Street and 7 local shops within Carlisle.

Routledges now consists of over 50 loyal and skilled staff.

Current: All the Routledges shops are going through a refurbishment program covering the next 2 years.
